No More Rocks of Unforgiveness

backpack of unforgiveness

Day One:

Y’all, unforgiveness is heavy! Today, I am so thankful for not needing to carry around my rocks of unforgiveness anymore. I carried around an overloaded backpack of unforgiveness for decades.

Instead of dealing with any of the issues of unforgiveness, I’d continue to add more and more “wrongs” to that worn out backpack.

Hurt my feelings, whether intentionally or not? In the backpack you’d go.

Break a promise? You went straight into the backpack.

That poor backpack was absolutely full of the big and the little.

I’d gotten so used to carrying it around with me that I didn’t even realize I was lugging it around every single place I went.

It didn’t happen overnight, but over a period of several months, the Lord worked on my heart of stone and gave me a heart of flesh.

Now, thanks to Christ, my rocks are gone!

Y’all, they are GONE!

I am so thankful for the freedom of forgiveness!

Grateful that you found freedom from the weight that you’ve carried for so long. You have changed so much over the last few years from where you were when I first met you.
